My little brother's wedding

Here is another late post because I didn't have the cable to my camera. So my little brother Dustin got married on Aug. 28th. Well I told my mom I would help her with the cake and the cupcakes. My mom was making all the dresses, the cake, the cupcakes, and all the food for the wedding. The week before the wedding she was running way behind. She didn't have any of the dresses done and had 200 cupcakes and a cake to bake and decorate. I went over the day before the wedding to help as planned, and when I got there I found out that the bride and groom had been in the ER all day because my brother was extremely sick. They thought that he had food poisoning from the night before. I got there at about 4:00 in the afternoon because I had been at my house all day frosting cupcakes, and they had been gone since 9:00 that morning. So things were stressed but it was still under control. That is until my mom got sick. She got most of the dresses done. All that was left on the dresses were some hems and some things on the brides dress. At about 6:00 my mom got so sick she couldn't do anymore and had to go lay down. I was left with finishing the dresses, completely frosting and decorating the cake, and frosting about 100 cupcakes. By 8:30 I was in full on panic mode. Will stopped by about that time and offered his help but he didn't really know what to do. It was really sweet of him to offer but there wasn't much he could do. He went home and I was left with everything. Finally at about 9:30 Dustin and Veronica showed up and Dustin was feeling better. They pumped 2 bags of fluids into him because he was dehydrated and gave him some really good anti-nausea meds. Veronica's sister showed a little bit before them and they took over the dresses. When Veronica got home she went and helped her sisters with the dresses. Little did I know when Will went home he went looking for help to send to me. My neighbor Stephanie's mom runs Sierra's Crafts and is a cake decorator. Steph showed up to surprise me with her help, and shortly after she got there she called her mom to come and help with the cake. So Veronica and her sister's had the dresses, Steph's mom had the cake and me and Steph made the frosting and frosted the cupcakes. Thanks to Steph and her mom I was home by 12:30. I thought I was going to be over there all night. THANK YOU STEPH AND RENEE!!!! I don't think I would have survived the night without you. So with every body's help the wedding came together and everything was wonderful. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Shyanne's first day in preschool!

Ok, Ok I know Shy's first day of preschool was in Sep. and it is now Nov. I'm very late in posting this but in all fairness we lost our cable to download the pictures from the camera to the computer. So we had to borrow our neighbors cable because they just recently bought the same brand of camera. Shy was very excited to start school and couldn't wait for her first day. She is doing very well in school. She is writing her name on her own without any model or tracing it. She is also helping the other kids with speech. At her parent teacher conference her teacher said she had the best language skills of the class, so Shy is helping some of the other children in language group. We are so proud of her!!!

Here is Shy in front of her new school. Lincoln Early Childhood Center.

Lagoon trip with my hubby and friends

Okay so I know this post is really late and I'm sorry. Me, Will, and our friends Krystal, and Nathan went to Lagoon on Aug 20th 2 days after we went with the kids. It was a great break from the kids and the stress of trying to get ready for school. We had so much fun. I made fried chicken to take for lunch which was really yummy. In the evening Will and Nathan went on the catapult. This ride sling shots the riders 250 ft into the air. I thought they were crazy and I would never go on it, I'm affraid of heights. After that we went on the go carts. Now that is my kind of ride. I loved it, and it stays on the ground. Well we planned on leaving the park a 9 or 9:30 and what ended up happening was all us saying "lets just go on one more ride". So we didn't leave until the park closed and didn't get home until 1:30 in the morning by time we got out of the parking lot and stopped for something to eat. We planned on leaving early because Krystal had to be up at 5 a.m. and Nathan had to be up at 6 a.m. They both had very long days the next day, sorry guys. It was a great way to end the summer. Going to Lagoon with the kids and then going with friends 2 days later.
Here is me and Krystal in line for our first ride of the day, Wicked.
Will and Nathan getting ready to ride the Colossus.
Here is all us in line for the Colossus.
Here is all us in line for the last ride of the night, Wicked.
This was the last ride and last picture of the night. Me and my sweetheart.

Lagoon trip with my family

We took a trip to Lagoon on Aug 18th with my mom and stepdad and my neice, her sister, my nephew and his mom. So with everyone we had ten people, and had to take two vehicles. We had a lot of fun, the kids had a blast.

Here is Shyanne on the kid swings.

Here she is in a bumblebee.

Kristina, Dad, and Grandpa Frank on the mouse. Dad hates this ride but Kristina dragged him on it anyways.

Here is Hailey, Shy, and Kristina on the train. We like this ride when we need a break.

Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Frank on train. Grandma hates pictures and Grandpa was being goofy.

Don't you love Will's cheesy smile!!

My little girl on a big ride( The Bat). She is growing up so fast, last year she couldn't ride these rides.

Kristina on The Bat, we all went together.

Trip to Idaho Falls

The day after the popcorn party we went up to Idaho Falls with Steph and her kids. We ate the lunch we packed at a park, then we hit the museum to see the Titanic display. The last thing we did was go the zoo. The kids loved touching the iceberg they had at the Titanic display and coloring pictures that the museum had for kids to do. The zoo was awesome, it is so much better then the Pocatello zoo. They have penguins, monkeys, lions, kangaroos, an alligator, and much much more. We spent almost three hours at the zoo and the kids were so tired by time we left. We stopped and grabbed a quick bite to eat and the kids were asleep before we even hit the freeway. We had a fun filled day.

Here we are right before we went into the museum(we weren't allowed to take pictures inside).

At the zoo the kids stuck their heads in a LIONS mouth!!! Will had to try too!!!
Who knew you could ride a tiger at the zoo.
I really like this picture of Will and I.

While the rest of were having a snack someone had a breakdown(no nap!!).

Overall it was an awesome day!!!

Catching up/ Harry Potter Popcorn Party

So school starts tomorrow and I watched to catch up on some of the fun things we did over the last couple of weeks. On Fri Aug 14th the kids and dads of the neighborhood had a Harry Potter Popcorn Party and watched Harry Potter 2 The Chamber of Secrets. Will has been reading the Harry Potter books out loud to the family and when we finish a book we have a popcorn party and watch that movie. This time we decided to invite the whole neighborhood, so the kids and their dads came to our house to watch the movie while the women went to Steph's house for a chick flick. We couldn't ask for better neighbors, we love them.

Back to School

Well tomorrow is the first day of Fall semester at ISU, and I gotta say that this college thing is turning into an expensive hobby.
Big Willie

Growin up so fast.

Our Kristina is starting her first day of second grade today and we are so sad. It seems that only yesterday she was born and now she is almost 8 and full of attitude.

My start in the blogging world.

Hello everybody!!! This is the first of many posts to come. I was never into blogging and I did not know much about it. Then in June I started getting really close with my new neighbor Stephanie. we moved here in February and they moved in 2 weeks after we did, but we did not really get to know each because it was winter and we were never outside. Then in June after I told Stephanie about my miscarriage, that had just happened about a week earlier, we got really close. She would talk about her blog every now and then but I never put much thought into it. As she talked about more I started asking her questions about blogging. Then this month I asked her how to look up her blog and she told me her blog address. I went and looked at her blog and decided to start one for my family. So here I am starting my blog. My blog entries will probably be short because I'm in school, working, and have 2 children so I am very busy, but I will try and keep things updated. I hope everybody will enjoy my blog.
